Join Advance LA for a fun social-recreational winter program for young adults between the ages 18-22. This program is specially designed for young adults with mild to moderate needs who face challenges with learning, language, attention, social interaction, or sensory processing. Build confidence, practice social and essential life skills, and take steps towards independence while having fun and forging new friendships. Let’s make this winter unforgettable!

Program Highlights
Examples of activities the young adults will be participating in each week include:

• Art workshops: ceramics and pottery-making, painting, and designing and printing your own T-shirt.
• Life Skills: practice social skills, money management, and cooking by purchasing the ingredients needed to create delicious holiday treats.
• Social Skills – head to the movies with friends and explore the community by enjoying all that Los Angeles has to offer, such as the LA Zoo, Griffith Park Observatory, and the Santa Monica Pier
