Parent to Parent
Support Group

Advance LA knows parents are an important part of a young adult successfully becoming more independent. Parenting a young adult with special needs can be draining, frustrating, and isolating. Support groups are a chance for you to connect with others that share your experience and gain valuable advice and resources.

Our ongoing P2P (Parent to Parent) Support Group is a free, virtual, bi-weekly meet-up for parents and caregivers. This is a safe place to share, gain valuable information, advice and resources, and benefit from the experiences and support of others. The groups are facilitated by Advance LA’s Program Coordinator, Jeri Rochman, who holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling, a Parenting Educator Certificate from UCLA, and is a Trained Crisis Counselor.

The P2P Support Group meetings are held on the first and third Thursday of each month, from 6-7pm.
